6th October City: There are several new projects in 6th of October City including iCity October, which will provide Cairo West with a new fully integrated community. In addition, iCity New Cairo, being set up to the East of the city will add a total of 18,000 residential units to the market when it is completed in 2020, says JLL. 6th of October City will also include Porto October.
Mostakbal City: The 45 million sqm development houses multiple compounds by major developers aimed at creating a fully integrated green community.
Palm Hills Developments: According to JLL, the developer will expand its integrated residential community in West Cairo. The developer plans to launch the first phase of a new 12.6 million sqm project in 2018. The development is expected to add residential built up area ranging from 6 -8 million sqm.
Ain Sokhna – With affordable residential prices on the coast, Ain Sokhna is in close proximity to Cairo and strategically located along the Red Sea. The construction of the Katamaya highway has resulted in an increased appetite for homes in this district, says Colliers.
North Coast – One of the key touristic areas in Egypt, the North Coast extends 500 km along the Mediterranean coastline. Also, popular with Egyptians looking for second homes, the area will also include conference halls, health clubs, restaurants, recreational facilities and beach cafes in the next few years.
